I bought a Krups ice cream maker at Boardmans Brooklyn on Saturday the 28/09.Despite following the instructions meticulously, I ended up with fruit juice instead of sorbet! I thus went to return the product today. Even after speaking to the representative of Krups that happened to be in the store, I was told that under no circumstances would I be refunded-the best that They could do was let a technician at Krups evaluate the product to see if it was faulty! I was also asked whether or not I read and followed the instructions appropriately-as these products are apparently never returned! Is this not in contravention to the consumer protection act?
I left the store unhappy, frustrated and unlikely to buy anything there again!
