We walked to the express tills with our basket of groceries and the one teller quickly shouts at us that it's 10 items or less, assuming that we had more. We were the only people in the line and all 4 tellers were open and doing nothing but chatting. I joked with the teller by saying we can split the basket amongst ourselves but got a dirty look in return so my girlfriend said lets rather just stand in the normal queue. It's obvious the teller was in no mood to do her work, and being a point of contact between the business and the customer its very disappointing to have been treated the way we were. As a customer you judge the company by the people they put out to represent them. It's not the first time we've encountered this teller's attitude, we assume that she speaks to us the way she does because we "look young" so we don't need to get the level of service as the other customers. It's happened one to many times now. All we can say is that the level of customer service needs to be improved to what it used to be.
