POOR QUALITY AND SERVICE FROM BROWNS

My husband purchased my engagement ring from Brown's Jewellery Store in Gateway during the month of April 2011 and we became engaged on 25th April of the same year. A month later the band of my ring began turning yellow. I went into the store to enquire and the store assistant did acknowledge that it was strange, however, I was asked a myrid of irrelevant questions before she admitted it was strange. They duly took my ring in, and provided me with a new band. Today, I am sitting with an embarrasingly yellow band. I am aware that white gold does tarnish with time, however, after receiving a new band a month had not passed before the new band began tarnishing. My wedding band was made up by another jewellery store in Gateway and If you compare my wedding band which the other jewellery store has made and the engagement ring band which Browns had replaced, the difference is astonishing. What really angers me is that the sales assistants in Browns were practically falling over themselves to assist when we walked in to make the purchase, but when we came in with a complaint, the attitudes where completely different and indeed very disappointing.
