I bought a wedding band for my husband in April 2013. It was a silver ring with a small diamond and 'black matt' at the bottom. I specifically asked the sales lady if the black matt will come off and she said it wouldn't. I then purchased the ring and after about a month or two the matt on the ring started to come off. I then returned the ring, but was told that I can either exchange the ring for something else or get a gift voucher, but they can't refund me. I am very unhappy, because we have been to several stores, (more than 7) which is way out our region and have not been able to find anything that is suitable. And at each store when we can't find anything they just say that they can't exchange the the voucher for the money. We live in Randfontein and have been driving up and down from store to store, as far as cresta and fourways mall looking for a new ring, this has been so frustrating and a huge waste of my time and fuel for something that isn't my fault. I feel that I paid cash for the ring and should have been refunded the same.
