Hi there

I was given a brand new Samsung G3 Station External Hard drive (1TB) as a gift just over 2 years ago. I am so incredibly infuriated owing to the fact that my entire hard drive has crashed with over 2000 reallocated sector count errors! I only used about 600GB of data and all of it is GONE. I can't use my drive at all and it's been such a short space of time.

As a consumer you expect the best quality, especially when it comes to the security of your data, to have a product that does not fail. I really thought Samsung was A-rated but unfortunately, after much disappointment I most certainly WILL NOT buy another Samsung product EVER again! I've had my Seagate 500GB hard drive for nearly 6 years now and the drive is still in PERFECT health!

I urge you to NOT buy Samsung hard drives of ANY sort. As customers we need to DEMAND QUALITY. This is absolutely ridiculous. You think you paying R800-R1500 for quality, but then a few years down the line this happens! Ironically, the box reads "Safeguard your memories" - Yeah right.
