On 25/08/2012. my husband bought a De Longhi Magnifica coffee machine from Makro Strubensvalley for my birthday in November. We used the machine for a month before it started giving problems with the coffee grinder. I returned it to Makro on 22 /12/2012. We did not hear from them and went back to the shop on 15/02/2013 and was assured that the machine is ready to collect at the manuacturer, but no driver was available and we should return on Monday. As we live in Springs 100km away and we both work, Thandile promised to deliver the machine in Springs during the week of 15 February. Once again we did not hear from them and we called again on 25/02/2013 and Thandile then told us that he was away and did not follow up. He promised again to call us back and sadly we have not had a call. For the price we paid for that machine we find this situation totally unacceptable, and would like a response from de Longhi as well as Kenwood who manages the distribution of their products.
