Genesis Hydovac - Machine and Service

About a year and a half ago I made the terrible mistake to perches the Genesis Hydrovac Vacuum Cleaner from Verimark in the Game Store Centurion Mall. Since then every 4 to 5 months the Vacuum Cleaner stops working, Making strange noises or losing sucking power. So every time I take it back to the store and they exchange it for a new machine. End of September 2012 same procedure. So on Wednesday 13 Feb 2013 the Machine lost sucking power and Thursday 14 Feb 2013 a returned it to the store as usual. The rep from Verimark told me that the machine has been discontinued, and that the machine needs to go for testing. Then they will decide if they will credit me the amount to perches another Genesis Machine that is almost double in price. This testing will take two to three weeks. the Machine have a 2 year Guarantee or so they say. Verimark put a model on the market that break every 4 to 5 months. they discontinue the product, I am sitting without a machine for 3 Weeks and I need to spent more money to just buy another Genesis Machine that will most probably have the same route. 90% of my house is tiled so the 4 bedroom's Carpets gets vacuumed once a week. AND IT IS MY PROBLEM!
