On or about January 2013, I went to a Red Hangar sale to purchase some items at Edgars. At the till point I was informed that my Edgars account limit can be increased. I specifically told the teller that I didn't want that to happen, but she then increased my limit anyway!
I refused to pay until she had reversed this and I explicitly wrote that I refused the limit increase on the slip she insisted I sign. She also had to ask one of her colleagues to assist her with this and took a further 15 minutes.
To my disgust, when I checked my account online for the end of January I noticed my account limit had been increased, even though I clearly did NOT authorise this.
I want this sorted out, otherwise I will pay the remaining balance on my account and close it. I pay my account regularly and I am not impressed that your staff cannot follow simple and clear instructions.
