I ordered bicycles for my kids for Xmas online from Game on the 24th of December and paid payment in full as well. Granted the order was placed a but late but because of kids being so indecisive, the selection process took a bit longer than expected. I explained to them that because the order was placed so late, they will probably only receive their gifts by New Year’s Eve as website stated that delivery should take 7 business days. I followed up with the call centre about 5 business days later, just out of curiosity but was informed that it has not left the warehouse yet. I followed up a week later and got the same response. I Followed up twice after that with a few days break in between and was given the same response but was informed with the last call that a follow up will be done and i will be contacted with feedback which i am still waiting for. Two days ago, i received an email to state that there was an attempt to contact me to inform me that there was no stock available for that items anymore but yesterday i received an email stating that my order has been dispatched, just to get an email today informing me that my order has been cancelled. So my question is, how was something i paid for, that was in stock at time of purchase and technically already belonged to me, it just had to be delivered, suddenly became out of stock, while I was informed on numerous occasions via the call centre that the items was still in the warehouse up until a week ago, managed to become out of stock. Could someone please explain this to me?!! So now I have to disappoint my children by informing them that the Xmas presents they so patiently waited for, will take even longer than expected cuz Lord knows how long the refund process is going to take as well.
