I purchased a laptop from the store in Scottburgh Mall on 13/01/2014. Upon purchase i was informed by the manager that there is a 30 day warranty where the device goes to the manufacturer and there will either be an exchange or a repair done. According to Edcon's policy which was emailed to me yesterday, there is a 14 day guarantee which we were NEVER informed of. I went to the store today and spoke to the manager Jayshree who confirmed that we were never advised on the 14 day policy. I told her I will contact her area manager (who she claims to not know) with regards to the disgusting service which I received, her response to that was "oh shame" spoken in an arrogant tone. In December I also went to purchase a Samsung I9190, the store had 2 left, 1 of which was supposed to have been kept aside for me, I went to the store thereafter only to find that the device was sold. I am now STILL waiting for the phone. In the beginning of February Jayshree advised that she received confirmation for the lady who orders her phones (Melanie) and we will receive it in 3 weeks. Today Jayshree says that "there is no stock so where must she pull the phone out from? " Is that customer service??
