I purchased a Mac book Air device online on the FNB site. It was delivered by courier and charged R150. I did not receive a Invoice, to indicate proof of purchase. I only started up the device after a week, waiting for someone to help me with the device. After opening up the device the keyboard was not working properly with the letter N in defect. We then took it to the I-store for assessment and was informed that there is a 2 week waiting period. I tried to contact FNB various times via their website, with no response. Eventually the laptop was submitted at the I-store and I waited 2 weeks before I was informed that they are awaiting parts. I tried to contact FNB again to report this and to obtain a proof of purchase. Eventually I phoned them and was helped. I purchased a faulty brand new Mac book air and demanded a replacement and new device. FNB declined and said it is not within my rights and I am only allowed for repairs on the device because it is under warranty. So now I am asking when you buy a garment and discover a hole in it before you wear it... do you take it back for replacement, of do you take it in for repairs? R13000 is alot of money
