My complaint is against OK Furniture, but the small print on their ad says they are part of the Checkers group. I am lodging this complaint to Checkers, since OK Furniture are not a company who responds on Hellopeter. We have a problem with the PE / Humansdorp branches of OK furniture. They mostly do not get any stock of smaller items advertised in the brochures. Example: For two months, using the 3 different brochures with ads that came out in Dec. 2013/Jan. 2014 I tried to buy an advertised Russell Hobbs Vacuum Cleaner on the day the sale started from OK PE, Humansdorp and the temp branch in Jeffreysbay. They never had any stock. They tried to order one for me, but received no stock. So I complained on Hellopeter, but as OK Furniture does not respond on Hellopeter, I sent the complaint directly to OK Furniture as well. Margaret Hills from the OK Furniture Head Office replied she received the complaint. Then Stephanie of the Humansdorp Branch phoned to tell me these vacuum cleaners have been discontinued. Yet OK Furniture they keeps advertising it at a terrible low price, as though they have stock. According to the Consumer Act, this is not allowed. They MUST have stock
