Yesterday (Sunday 02/02/14) I went to Legit East Rand Mall to do an exchange and to purchase a couple of other items. When I entered the store, I noticed that there was no one at the tills and there was another lady that was looking for someone to assist her at the fitting room. There was also no one there to assist and she had to help herself. I spent about 20 minutes in the store and during this time the tills remained unattended, but I could hear the staff chatting at the back. After I fount the items that I wanted to purchase, I went and stood at the till. The female security guard at the door did see me standing there and she was also staring at the other lady that needed assistance, but she did absolutely nothing to find someone to help. After standing at the till for 10 minutes, I had to leave. I was absolutely stunned- how could this happen? I will be taking back the item that needs to be exchanged and I expect a cash refund as I refuse to ever to buy anything from Legit again. I have also experienced the Legit stores- East Rand Mall, Festival, Green Stone & Carnival to be dirty- the changing rooms are dirty and smelly and the stores are very disorganised.
