My wife purchased a pair of Crocs on 5 January 2014. After 20 days the one shoe squeeked very badly when walking. We phoned the subject store at 09h30 whether we can exchange the shoes at their Hillcrest branch. they confirmed yes. Hillcrest branch was very unsure on what to do upon arrival. eventually they told us they do not have the correct size to exchange. We wanted to take other shoes due to this but they said we will have to go to the Springfield branch where we made the purchase. The lady said she spoke to Megan who confirmed that they have a size 6 in stock. We then drove the 35 kms to Springfield. Megan stated that she cannot exchange the shoes as they have been worn. She asked why Hillcrest did not do the exchange. We told them Hillcrest said they spoke to her who confirmed she had stock and will do the exchange. She then said they do not have stock to exchange. We said we will take other shoes but she refused and said they will send the Crocs to the factory who will check and respond. we said it is unacceptable because we have paid for shoes that we cannot wear. her attitude was a "take it or leave it" attitude which is unacceptable. we want our money back or new shoes.
