EXCHANGE POLICY

I had purchased a pair of John Drake on saturday (04/05/2013), there was no size 9 so i decided to take a size 8 which fitted me but was tight, i assumed like most formal shoes, it would stretch. I thereafter used the shoes on the 06/05/2013 to work and my right foot was hurting using it- i only used the shoes for roughly 4 hours and when i looked underneath of the shoe, it already had scuff marks- For a John Drake, that was a real disappoitment- i walked in the store at Edgars at Gateway Mall today (07/05/2013), to exchange the shoes asap so that i will not be implicated of using the shoes and then exchanging it but was denied a exchange- I am very disappointed and think that i am well within my rights of exchanging the shoes as it was within a 7 day period and i onlu used the hsoes for 4 hours-- if i dont get a suitable response, i will take this up with Consumer Protection. Please asist
