Lat year i ordered a blade from leitz and the day before shutdown i phoned to see if they still had stock of the same blade. Yes, they had stock but they would not be able to deliver it by shutdown. I too was closing down so i waited until January. In January i ordered the blade, which they delivered. I at the same time handed my blunt blades to the driver for sharpening. When i came to pay for the blade i discovered that the price had jumped by more than R100 over the shutdown. I then enquired about the pricehike and they said it was the exchange rate that had caused it. Now i know full well that they had two blades in stock when they shut down and they saw an opportunity to muke a quick buck. We are the people supporting their company and they are ripping us off. I told them to come and collect their blade as i had purchased onother blade elsewhere at the proper price. A few days passed and no one arrived to fetch the blade, and my blades had not been returned from being sharpened and when i phoned them, Henk said that the blades were being witheld because i had not yet paid for the blade which had never been collected. My blades havnt yet been returned. No wonder they went bung
