I visited GP Lawnmowers on 14 January 2014 to buy new blades for my Murray lawnmower. The salesman who assisted me provided me with three new blades which cost R89.00 per blade, totalling at R267.00.
However, when I installed it into my lawnmower, I noticed that it does not cut the same as the previous blades -- it seems to be too short. I phoned GP Lawnmowers to enquire about the problem. I was informed that they have provided me with the wrong blades.
However, they will order the correct blades and it costs R289.00 per blade, totalling at R867.00. I informed the man that this is unacceptable as they provided me with the wrong blades and therefore, I want the right blades at the same price, as they are now costing me time and money.
He informed me that he will not assist me with the request, did not give me a chance to finish the conversation, and hung up the phone.
I will never do business with this company again -- they are incompetent and unprofessional.
