I received baby shower gifts from Toys 'R Us. It was wrapped in their gift wrapping! I wanted to return the gifts as it is not something that I need. I don't have the slip as it was gifts.
It was still in the original packaging UNOPENED, barely touched. I am 38 weeks pregnant and doesn't feel like shopping, so I only wanted a voucher so that I can come and shop at a later stage when I find something that I want.
The manager (Martha Lefowa) at Centurion Mall's shop had a bad attitude and said she can't give me a voucher if I don't have the slip, but is willing to exchange it for me for something else. I explained to her that there is nothing that I want to exchange it for at the moment.
So she said I must take the stuff home and bring it back when I want to exchange it for something else. I know how these people work, then the stuff will be on sale or they don't stock it anymore and then won't exchange it or give it at a discounted price. I also don't want to drive around with the stuff in my car for in case I want to exchange it for something else.
This is the only shop in SA that can't give a voucher as an exchange!! And Centurion is famous for their sticky attitude...
