Threatening letters with no proof of debt

I have received a letter from Makro Centurion threatening to hand me over for collection due to bad debt.
1. I do not have an account at Makro (I do have a Makro card, but always pay cash)
2. I have never been to the Centurion Makro store.
3. My Makro card number does not 100% match the account number they quote.

I have requested proof that I opened an account at Makro, and proof of the transactions and my signature, but it is now more than 2 months later and despite various requests, I have not received such proof.
Janet Griesel in Accounts does not return my emails.
