So, yesterday i managed to get into the new Makro Alberton store nice and early. After a short 1hour and 20 min wait outside. After doing my shopping a getting the goods i wanted, the last thing i craved was a smoke, so with credit on my account card and my car heading for the gate i stopped to quickly get a carton of smokes from the liquor store, as i was about to pay the cashier informed me that i need to verify with my id, this was the first time someone asked me to show my id, so the cashier got her supervisor to verify it for, my id containing my makro card and my makro account card was both present in my id when verification was done by the supervisor, when the supervisor was done with my verification she handed me my makro card and gave the cashier the id book and makro account card, but when the cashier opened the id, no makro account card was present. This stirred up a search and struggle, After 1hour worth of arguing and finger pointing, two supervisors and a store senior, Jan the Risk manager of Makro Alberton came to see me, but could not point out exactly what happened with my card. No my card has been blocked and i am still highly upset with the poor service. Thanks
