No refund to a brand new product

I bought a blender from the store on the 19 December 2013 for R219.00 "BRAND NEW " the thing gave problems and I returned it on the 27 December 2013. I spoke to the manager and told him I do not want a replacement as this will happen again because of the mechanism that rotates is plastic and it will wear off again from using the blender he told me he has to send it to the factory to establish if it's a factory fault. All this would take 14 working days so I agree and remind him I do not want a replacement of which he agrees upon checking on two occasions what's the story with the blender it finally today 23 January 2014 I go for the refund of the blender only to be told by the same manager I spoke to that he can not refund it as there was nothing wrong with the blender but the damage was caused due to wear and tear I had it less then 2 weeks, I refused told him actually reminded him of our conversation when I brought it in and he say no they have a different policy as other stores they don't do refunds but he can buy it back from me for R100 .That really infuriated me daylight BAD SERVICE TO THE MAX either way I'm a loser so I'm stuck with a useless blender.
