On 22 January I visit PnP Primrose square. Doing grocery shopping with a baby in a pram is sometimes a challenge, but I've learned to manage. As I left the store, pushing the pram and pulling a trolley full of goods, a PnP staff member asked if he could help me. He pushed the trolley to my car, loaded all the bags in the boot while I was putting my baby in the car. I was very grateful for his help and wanted to reward him but didn't have any money with me. So I offered him one of the items I bought and his reply was 'Mam, I didn't help you to get payment in return. I wanted to help you because I see you have a baby. I also have a baby so I understand'. Wow, I was stunned! No where in this country can you expect to get such service without the helper expecting to get paid. I insisted he take the payment. He even helped me out of the parking. Thank you Joerie for your help. We need more like you in this country! I would much rather reward someone like this, than the car guards that just grabs the trolley from you and swears at you when you can't pay them.
