This Report is a summary of events at this SPAR. From when the new management have taken over, things have been progressively getting worse. I have on previous occasions submitted complaints around the cleanliness of the store and dispatch areas (where public has to pass to exit the complex), and things have not improved despite Head Office promises. I have on more than one occasion taken rotten deli/bakery products back, including milk that has not reached it's expiry date yet, but was very off. This afternoon I wanted some biltong, only to find flies taking up residency in the meat. Showed the lady at the counter this fact, she just smiled and ignored me. I left the bitlong, went to "fresh produce" only to find the butternut full of flies as well, with the cauliflower wilting in the shelf. The shop in general had flies buzzing around. I left the fresh produce, and only purchased sealed products, including Lamb chops. which tasted like dishwashing liquid, I kid you not. Reality check - The only reason I shop there is convenience, nothing else anymore (have been a customer for fifteen years), and if I am sick tomorrow due to the soapy meat, I will probably call the health inspecto
