I have been a daily customer at the Super Spar Wierda Park 2 (Cenurion) for the last 10 years. I find shopping there very convenient as it's very close to my house as well as the fact that you can find almost anything you are looking for under one roof. Things have changed thou in the last 2-3 years since I saw new faces (management / owners).
Flies, flies everywhere!!! In the deli, bakery, cooked food section, fruit & veg and even on packets of biltong and dry wors. This is the sight that greets me every day when I do my shopping there. Last week I saw flies on bread and breadrolls, sitting on top of each other and reporiducing.
I often see customers cringing when they see what I see. I think we all know that there is nothing worse than flies walking all over our food and lying eggs on the food we eat.
I noticed that an attempt is made to keep the flies away by burning citronella candles around the food, but this in not effective at all. Nets are also used to cover food here and there but flies get in anyway.
Is there a way of solving the fly problem permanently?
