We bought a corner couch from Furniture City in December 2012, which has a 1 year warranty. In about October 2013, we noticed the material on the one side of the couch had frayed, and as it is a tweed material it would most likely need to be re-upholstered. We went into the store where we purchased the couch to report this, and they arranged for collection of the couch on 2 November 2013. We never received any feedback whatsoever, so on about the 3rd of December we called the call centre to follow up. Since 3 December we have called the call centre about 15 times and each time we get given the same story, that our complaint has been logged and that someone will phone us back the same day to give feedback!!! It is now 17 January, almost 3 MONTHS since our couch was collected, and we still don't know where it is, if it has been fixed or when we are getting it back! This is unnacceptable, and honeslty we expected more from such a big Company. If you are considering buying furniture from Furniture City, please DON'T waste your time and money! Rather buy from someone who will give you the right after sales service. We are beyond dissapointed!
