I called the store on the 9th of December and spoke to my Sales man Herman about my broken couch that was under extended warranty. Herman told me that the supplier had closed and thus could not collect, my couch until January 6th. January 6thI called the store and was told Herman had since resigned and thus the store manager Mick Mvundla would handle my repairs. The store manager promised to call me so I called again and this time he committed to ensuring that my couch would be collected between Monday & Tuesday 13, 14 January 2014. My couch still has not been collected. The broken couch is getting more damaged with everyday that its not attended the leather is getting torn by the saging weigh and lack of support. I have called this week thrice and not once has Mick called me back or taken my calls. I have a broken couch no repairs no solution and a dysfunctional service provider. What Furniture City does not realise is that whilst the couch is at repairs we will have no couch there are no time lines and the committed times are not hoonoured meaning I have no scope on timelines and if they will repair or replace its UNACCEPTABLE because we deserve goods worthy of the money wepay
