I bought a cnr lounge in December 2011. Within 6 months of purchase the couch broke. It fell in and it was discovered that there were no springs no coushins to support the couch. They came to pick up after a while becasue i was not avaliable at times when they were fetching it. That couch is huge so much that i had to take it up the balcony with help of course. when they picked it up they forced it down the stairs damaging fabric which they told me its not under guarantee. they fixed teh actual couch. I had accepted my fabric being damages but asked for a refund on the scorch guard that i had paid for which they did not do. The sales guy, Owen, tells me that they can still do it. I told him am not sure how they would do that on damaged fabric. He said if i want a refund i should bring 3months bank statement, payslip, and copy of certified ID. I told him i will not do that as it is rediculous. My couch is still with furniture city and the story is long as there were incidents where i felt my calls were being avoided by Owen and there are now new stories around the couch.
