STORE MISLEADS CONSUMERS - BEAWARE!!!

During December purchased stationery over the value of R1000, went in after a few days later to purchase some gifts, asked for a price on a pencil set, staff member went to check in the back room for a price which took very long, i however waited patiently for her return (10 minutes). she returned and instructed me a price, i then went onto the cashier to pay, and this young naive arrogant child working at the tills rung up the incorrect price, even the till display didnt match the item, it read something else. i asked for further assistance, a manager/owner arrived and took a look at the till this still took a few minutes again, and he came to the conclusion that we must pay more than what the first staff member had told us. the young boy insisted that the price i was first told of, was incorrect and no longer applied. the owner backed him up and said thats how it is. i explained that you cannot say one price even after waiting so long for her to find out and then change it. she even confirmed this in front of him.mangement didnt give a hoot! i will never support this store again and want consumers to be aware of the prices on sheleves and from staff members.-HEAD OFFICE CONTACT ME
