COMPLAINT _ BOARDMANS EAST RAND MALL - Edgars Account 6008 1501 1142 5874
My wife has a Brabantia ironing board, and needed to replace the cover.
In early December, we bought a B cover from the East Rand Mall branch, when we came to fit it, we should have bought a C size.
We took the cover back to exchange it, but NO STOCK.
The cashier then passed a credit till slip for the cover, but stated that she could not refund in cash, it was not Company policy, we should hold the till slip credit and use it to pay for a cover when the new stock arrives. My wife filled out the paperwork presented to her with her details, and we left with the credit till slip.
As she needed a cover, we decided to go to the Eastgate branch - NO STOCK.
On the 9/1/14, we went back to East Rand Mall, stock was available. My wife picked up the cover, went to the pay point, NO CASHIER in attendance, we waited 15 minutes, STILL NO CASHIER AT THE COUNTER.
Manager, when he came out of the back after 20 minutes, refused to accept the credit till slip, stated we had already received the cash.
Logged a call on the Edcon customer site on the 9/1/2014, have had no response from Edcon.
