BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS BEST

I just came from Ackermans East Rand Mall to return clothing bought for the kids by their Father, I had the original receipt with me and all 40 items still had their price tags. I got to the till the cashier advised that she needs to confirm with the manager regarding the refund, she took the bank card with her. Came back with the manager minutes later and I was asked what was wrong with the clothes, I told her their small. Father bought newborn clothes for a 5 month old and the 3 year the dresses are tight around the chest and the shoes are size 8 and shes a 10. She then told me they can't refund the items because the clothes was paid for by cheque card, and the father would have to come with his card and do the refund. The father doesn't stay us and we work very different hours, thats why when he buys clothes he gives me the slip incase anything that needs to be returned or changed. No where on the slip and the refund policy does it say that when payment is made with a card it has to be present when returning. And she asks me why don't I want to exchange at the store or do I want to spend his money else where, what she was insuniating by the comment showed disrespect in my regard
