No Means to Track your package

Recently i order a Christmas present, i was told before payment it would only be delivered on the 17th of January which i could accept fine, however after i paid (on the same day) it went up to expected delivery on the 20th of January. A little confused but still happy i went about my business, until i received a email saying my package had been dispatched and i should be at the address provided such that i didn't miss the delivery, so i waited and waited and now its 72hrs later and i can't go out as i don't know when my package will be delivered and have no way of tracking it either. Please look into some means of tracking your package as it would be very helpful.
