On 2013/12/31 I had called into the centurion store to enquire about purchasing a tv on credit. I informed the person on the other line that I have all my paperwork in order. I further enquired if a temporary ID could be used, to which I received a response indicating that so long as its been issued by home affiars, it would be accepted. To this end, I went to home affairs, sat in a queue for 2 hours, payed R70 and acquired a temp ID. I informed them that I have my proof of earnings, bank statements and copy of my original ID. I was told that this would be accepted to apply for credit. I then arrived at the store and spent an hour picking the perfact tv but when I got to the service desk to apply for credit, I was rudely told that the temp ID was not applicable. This was after being told before hand that it was accepted. I asked to speak to the store manager but I was rudely declined in a disgusting manner. The person 'assisting' me was totaly uninterested.
