29 Nov 2013 i went to Markhams Eastgate, wanting to settle and close my account on arrival i discovered the following:
-Markhams has been charging me for benefits on my account for the last 5 years
-secondly there had been an interest accumulated on my account
-re: Benefits, i have never agreed to any benefits with this group, and the person who actually signed me up must be called to order!!
-re: the interest that was charged on my account was interest accrued while my account was on block and under investigation (activities), if you can check my account for the past 5 years i have never been late on a payment, my record speaks for itself, how can i be charged interest on an account that is under investigation? (still waiting for this to be sorted out??
i am appalled by the service i have received from the Markham's people and this has led me to wanting to close my account, its going on 2 months now and I have still not been assisted to my satisfaction
Unathi Linda, NO. 021 937 4091, has assisted with benefit reversal but has failed to finish the cycle of this complaint (interest reversal) I WANT THIS CLOSED ASAP
