I have opened my Edgars account many years ago and had the 6 months interest free account. When I was requested to change my account to the new THANK U account I asked the person assisting me if this will change any of the account conditions and he advised me that everything will remain the same. I then noticed that I was being charged interest on purchases as well as charges for "late payments" even though my account was always paid upfront and before month end. I phoned the call centre and some of the charges were reversed but not all. I was now getting very annoyed. I stopped using the account because of this. I am now considering closing my account as I do not see the use of having an account that I cannot use because they change the account conditions as they wish.
It seems this new THANK U card does not thank u at all, but Edgars is smilling all the way, as I am wondering how many customers did not pcik up that they are being over charged.
