My wife bought Ipanema sandals from Woolworths. The strap broke and we went back to the retailer. They could not find the barcode number on their computer for the specific item. After searching for about 45 minutes with no success, the customer care staff informed us that they are unable to identify the bar code number of the sandal and concludes that they never had the shoes in stock. WE ACTUALLY BOUGHT THE SANDALS FROM THE STORE ABOUT 30 DAYS AGO. The specific item was out of stock because of the fact, confirmed by the customer care staff, that the sandal was very much in demand. Due to their incompetent service we had to leave the store very upset and disappointed in the service rendered by the customer care department.
