Steam Butler poor service

I have a Steam Butler that has hardly worked at all and it no longer gets the water hot, nevermind steam. I have used it plus/minus 5-times to defrost my freezer only. However, I have misplaced the purchase receipt. It is as new in the bag without scratches etc. I was defrosting when it stopped. It worked really well and the red light comes on so I suspect the heating element no longer works. It was expensive to buy (about R500.00 plus/minus August 2012) so I would like to know if you will swap it over for me please? Ben, Nelspruit. This is too much money to just forfeit.
