I sent this letter to the hotel manager and estate manager but it was ignored.
As a long time visitor, what I look forward to the most when we visit the hotel is the spa experience. The spa looks very appetising wherever advertised.
I visited the spa and found, found it is badly neglected. This ongoing issue makes a visit to the spa rather mediocre, substandard & unhygienic.
Firstly, the ladies dressing room carpet looks disgusting, always wet and badly worn. It is unhygienic (fungus/athletes foot etc.) and gross to stand on.
The cold showers inside the spa area have not worked properly in all the time I have visited.
The buttons are not marked so no one knows which one to press to get the shower going. You stand under one shower head but just about every time the water will flow out of another shower head.
Thirdly, the main room sports a huge amount of mould on the roof. This is completely unhygienic and disgusting to look at.
Lastly, the steam room has been faulty for quite a while too. The steam often gushes out of the two steam ducts non-stop resulting in steam that is very hot and dangerous.
