Two weeks ago, I bought Plascon Kitchen & Bathroom paint at Makro Cape Gate, it was rather expensive. On the paint container it says "water resistant, steam resistant, washable, mould resistant" - I painted the bathroom with two coats. But after a week one morning I noticed that from the shower's steam, there's water marks on the walls, where water ran. Bathroom paint that's suppose to be steam and water resistant should not do that. I also keep the windows and door open when showering, so the room is not consumed by steam.
This paint also has some silver technology that suppose to keep walls from mildew etc and comes with a 7 year guarantee, it's hardly been two weeks.
So now I have to re-paint the bathroom again.. and buy another container of paint. I'm very disappointed.
It's a poor quality product and incorrectly mixed by Makro staff.
