I purchased an item on the woolworths website on the morning of the 10/12/2013. Towards the evening, I was received a call from the call centre stating that the item i had purchased was out of stock, hence I decided to cancel the order. Todate, WOOLWORTHS have not informed the bank the release the funds back into my credit card. Each time I call the call centre, I get put on hold for hours and when eventually i get through a consultant, the call gets cut.

On Thursday 12/12/2013, I was promised by a consultant that they would contact the bank and request that the funds should be released back into my account. Today 4 days later and the funds still does not reflect back into my account.

Each time I get told that someone would call me back and I still wait.

It is enough that this country lacks service delivery, but I certainly didn't expect this from WOOLWORTHS. I regularly purchase items online, after this experience, I would rather purchase at other stores and get better service.
