I recently had my windscreen replaced, once they had finished and I left, I immediately noticed a strange noise when braking, I immediately took the car back and brought it to their attention, the rubbers had lifted. They guy just smacked it back in with his fist... I then asked why would I be hearing that noise and he then requested that I take him for a drive, which I did, may I add that you might want to tell your employees that if they stink like booze they might want to shower, so first time I brake and I hear the noise again, first I get told its the masking tape that's making the noise, then I get told that its wind noise from my window not being closed properly and when I brake the wind does something funny... That's it, no inspection, nothing, just speculation. I leave, now the windscreen is also squeaking like crazy while driving, they also left glass in my car after replacing my windshield which resulted in a cut finger. They also damaged the plastic between the bonnet and windscreen while removing the old one.
