I recently purchased the new shape Hyundai Sante Fe. When driving at 80km or more, you get terrible wind noise (almost sounds like the window is slightly open). The faster you drive, the worse the noise. I took the vehicle back to the dealer who said there is a defect on the mirror causing the problem and that they would escalate this to head office. After receiving no feedback from them, I contacted their client service department - bottom line - first the person advised that the car was up to specs - so tough luck. Then I was asked if I test drove the vehicle and did I not notice the noise then. When I replied that I did not hear any noise during the test drive - I got no response except for a mail indicating that the case was closed. I have driven this brand for some time now, both my kids have Hyundai's - I have recommended them unconditionally. Now that I drive their "flag-ship" I could not be more disappointed with the vehicle and the very poor attitude from this company. It was even suggested that I turn the volume up then the wind noise would not be so bad. My dream car turned out to me a nightmare and the attitude of the head office service team is shocking. Never again.
