I recently purchased the new (F30) 3 series BMW and it was booked in for its first service at Autobahn. I was given a courtesy car to use and the vehicle was ready to be picked up the following day. I requested a particular problem to be attended to and that was a wind noise from the left front door. When i collected the car it seemed to have been sorted out. The vehicle belongs to my wife i hardly drive it. It was parked off and since i collected it last Thursday and I only drove the car yesterday afternoon. A rattle came from the left door and I told my wife to check if there is a cd or her phone charger in the door compartment as the noise came from the left front door. When we stopped she got out of the car the entire left door panel was loose and was just about hanging on. I contacted Donald at Autobahn who advised that I bring the car back in and will be sorted out while I wait. I live in Centurion and dont have the time to come back. I have told Leo Haese to sort the problem out on Fri. This is a serious quality issue and has to be addressed asap. Autobahn also has their own panel shop and it makes me wonder if i would use them should the need arise or on my panel list :-(
