On Saturday 30 November 2013, I went to the Pick 'n Pay in Centurion mall. I stood in the que at the cigarette counter for between 5 to 10 minutes. As I went to the available till, one of HiFi corp staff members tried to cut the line in front of me, with the excuse that she was in the que, but had to go and fetch something, and that the person at the other till was holding her place. Sorry. Once you leave the line, you lose your place. When I complained to the cashier, and she called the manager, this member of the hi-fi corp staff, when realizing she will not have her way, suddenly played the race card stating "it is because she is black". In the new South Africa??? No, it is because she has no manners!!! The cashier actually took the side of the rude hiFi corp staff member and only the manager, who was utmost professional, could let this go fairly. He is a very professional person
