I bought a By design TV from Hifi corp 10 months ago, the TV broke on the 3/5/2013 so i took it to the branch i bought it from (Springfield, value center) only to find out the branch closed down, this was a shocker, i approached the head office, Amanzimtoti branch, customer care and even their suppliers (stylco) who by the way refused to help, i had to find their repair agents (technifix) on my own, i left the TV with them for assistance and help on speaking to the closest branch, the lady at technifix did her best to assist but Hifi corp refuses to help, its been 4 weeks with no help or feedback, i have been running around and its been costing me a fortune in calls and petrol, i have decided to take the matter up legally and decided to just buy another TV in the interim, i have to say people, do not, i repeat do not by a TV from Hifi corp especially a By design, there's a reason why its cheap. i hope everybody out there reads this and realize what type of company Hifi corp is, dont put yourself in a situation, just buy a TV from somewhere else and please don't buy a By design TV (total waste of money) and the suplliers are even more cruel, once you paid you doomed!!!
