On Saturday the the 23rd November went to Jay Jays Campus Square to purchase some jeans. I used my debit card to pay and al always immediately after punching in my in as requested i got a confirmation that R299 was deducted from my account and to my surprise the person at the till then tells me my purchase was declined. He called in the manager who couldn't't even explain to me why/how exactly is my purchase declined while the money is already deducted from my acc, she has the audacity to tell me about the technical IT wara-wara of banks linking, or rather them being unable to link and that they dont have the money so I should go to the bank, get a slip and come back on monday (that was on a saturday) because the call center that deals with such does not work on weekends. Today I go to the bank explain the situation and they print out a memo for me as requested by jay-jays, I take it there and the lady calls that call center and still the flipin call center agent gives me the turn around and cannot even answer my single question, let alone fix the situation. Now im told to wait anothe 72 hours after ive waited 48 hours. Im so diappointed by jay jays. actually im livid.
