Application for store credit card not sent11/11/13

I applied for a store credit card on the 11/11/2013 and when i went to check today what is happening with my application no one could explain and no one took responsibility and not even an apology. I was just left standing there like an. This was so unprofesional by this store.
All they said was this application was not sent :-(
