On October 23rd, Game Secunda had specials as they moved to the new mall. I took half day off as I have recently moved into my own place and needed to furnish it. I spent over two hours shopping for a fridge, washing machine, microwave, television, toaster, kitchen utensils and basically everything that goes into a home. After standing in the line for about an hour I was told that I needed to pay for my goods with cash. (I dont think anybody walks around with a R30 000 cash). I then asked the manager if they could keep my things aside in order for me to go to the bank and get the money to pay. I was told that they could not help me. I have to pay cash immediately or do the shopping all over again as the goods will not be kept. I obviosly then had to leave as I did not have the money. I went back on the 24th and did the whole process all over. I was told I would receive delivery on the Saturday (26th), I did not receive any phone call or delivery so I followed up. I was told delivery would happen the Monday. Monday - no delivery. I phoned the next day and was told that they are out of stock. It has been almost a month to date, still dont have a fridge, microwave and washing machine.
