The service at Clicks, Port Alfred is appalling! I have been very patient with the slow service for over 2 years. One of my biggest gripes are the lazy, incompetent staff. More often than not there will be only one teller open while other staff chat. I have often wondered why it takes so long for my telephone calls to be answered or why I get put on hold for so long - when a few weeks ago I was standing in the queue when the phone started ringing. 7 members of staff were standing talking and having a laugh and not bothering to answer the call. On a few other occasions I have taken items off the shelf to purchase, only to be told that I could not buy them because they hadn't been loaded onto the system. Last week as I was paying, one item was broken - the teller did not know how to handle the situation and had to call another 3 staff members to assist - all he had to do was fetch another item. Today, I tried purchasing a "buy one, get one free item". I checked with the teller first to see if the item was still on sale. He said "Yes". Rang everything up then realised he was wrong. It took 3 more staff to sort it out. Staff are lazy and incompent. Even the manager did not care. FEDUP
