Faulty KIC fridge

I purchased a KIC fridge from Hifi Corp, JHB in June 2011, but only officially started using it from July 2011 after moving to Durban-collected the fridge from Durban Branch of Hifi Corp.
Dec 2012, the fridge stopped working-needed to be re-gassed- a blockage and a gas leakage-repaired by KIC.
April/ May 2012; the fridge again stopped working- needed to be re-gassed and the motor had to be replaced.
Since last repair, the fridge gradually started losing the ability to keep cold properly, no matter the setting and the freezer only froze items properly on one side of the freezer.
1st Nov 2013; fridge stopped working-newly replaced motor failed and no gas- another gas leakage.
2013/11/07- KIC offered me a buy-back option on the fridge i.e. I can purchase the same model fridge at a discounted rate.
This is unacceptable to me because as a consumer I have a reasonable expectation that a fridge will last longer than 2 years and that KIC now expects me to buy another fridge after only 2 years, considering the fridge has cost me money in spoilt food & inconvenience.
This fridge is essentially faulty i.e poor quality -as a consumer I have the right to a good quality product from KIC.
