On Wednesday the 30th I visited the Shoprite in Polokwane to buy 3 items, the queues were so long that I decided to try the cigaret counter. My my my, only should I have know that I was throwing myself in the lion's den. All the staff, two cashier and the admin manager were so adamant that I cannot pay there, they even told me that I rather leave the store which is what I did. I went to the next Shoprite, I got there at about 18h50, the doors were closed and I asked the security what time they were closing, he told me 17h45 and gave me a look of a side dish that was not ordered. My day in Polokwane was shattered. Is that what Shoprite teaches its people? If so, thank you change the name to Shopwrong then.
